Program Overview

Program Description:
Paid positions include: waiting tables, clerical work, telemarketing, sales and service work, production and transport work, seasonal work, and call center work. Working a typical 40-hour week in this type of position, you can expect to make around AUD $500-$700 per week before taxes. After taxes, the net wages are closer to AUD $400 - $500 per week. Your salary will be arranged directly between you and your employer. Upon arrival, we will provide you with resources to help you prepare your resume and cover letter for the Australian job market. You will have a consultation with a recruitment consultant who will go through your resume, discuss job opportunities, give housing assistance, and review positions currently available. This saves you 2-3 weeks of time familiarizing yourself with the local scene and job market.
