Elegran is a dynamic and growing luxury real estate firm. Elegran has established itself as an industry leader on the internet, supported by cutting edge technology and a creative business approach that distinguishes us from the competition. Based in Manhattan, Elegran has a large in-house creative services division well-versed in both traditional and innovative real estate marketing strategies. A web developer internship position is now available at Elegran. The web developer intern will work on multiple websites in Elegran’s web portfolio, participate in a variety of projects and learn to work in professional web development environment. Our intern will benefit from a flexible schedule that allows for college credit and a possible stipend. We are seeking an intern who is savvy in PHP and HTML 5, preferably with Drupal experience and a commitment/interest in open source CMS like Wordpress or Joomla. If you have a sample portfolio of sites that you can showcase please let us know. Requirements -Undergraduate student or recent graduate with a major in Computer Science or related field. Skills -Proficient in HTML (HTML 5 is a plus), CSS (CSS 3 is a plus) and JavaScript (jQuery is a huge plus) -Experience with PHP programming and MySQL -Knowledge of Drupal, WordPress, Joomla is a plus -Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails is a plus -Existing web portfolio to present is a plus

Setting Description:

Responsibilities -Working with our in-house development team (graphic designers, developers) -Providing creative solutions for sub-tasks of large web development projects -Cutting up designs into HTML/CSS templates -Working with databases -Contributing to other processes of web development
