January is the heart of the summer for Australia and the heart of the winter for the U.S.—where do you want to be? Try Deakin University's beautiful campus right on the seafront in the heart of Melbourne, Australia. This is a great program for someone who wants to study abroad without missing a semester at their home university. Experience the world's most livable city without the hassle of all the planning. This program offers a three-week session in which to study modern Australian culture and society, arranged housing, and various cultural and immersion activities such as visiting the Melbourne Immigration Museum, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne laneways and the Great Ocean Road. Ideally, it can be combined with the USAC Trimester 1 (February-June 2020), or you can choose to just attend the January session.
