Intercultural interchange is stimulated for both national and foreign students, through an excellent methodology and a pleasant atmosphere.

Founded in 1981, Universal de Idiomas is among the most experienced Spanish Institutes in Costa Rica. The more than 30 years of experience have established a refined program and inspiring philosophy that sets us apart. Every year hundreds of students follow our immersion language courses. Our Spanish- and English department respectively receive over 200 and 800 students every year! We foster the interaction between the Spanish and English students through our interchange program; a great way to learn about other cultures and make friends from all over the world!

- We are located in the heart of San Jose, right where the action is. You will have countless restaurants, discotheques, museums, plays, and shopping at your fingertips. San Jose is also the ideal place of departure for trips to any place in the country.
- Cost:
- The cost of our programs depends on the lenght of the program you choose (1 week - 52 weeks) and on the specific course you choose. We offer group or private classes or, can combine both course together so you can enjoy both group and private sessions together.
