Program Description:
TESOLCENTRAL Berlin offers a 5 week Trinity College CertTESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Course. The Trinity CertTESOL provides an initial qualification in TESOL for those with little or no experience of teaching and who want a qualification that is recognised internationally by EFL employers and the British Council. Our highly regarded qualification will provide you with a solid foundation upon which to build a TESOL career while enjoying the life changing experiences that come from living and working in a different culture.

Theory and classroom management Inputs are coupled with teaching practice with real learners to enable the learners to develop as a competent TEFL teacher in a shout space of time.

Trinity CertTESOL, along with CELTA, is accepted by the British Council as an initial TESOL or TEFL qualification for teachers in its accredited teaching organisations in the UK and in its own teaching operations overseas. The Open University, also accepts the qualification as credits towards some of its degree programmes in the UK. Entry requirements: Candidates require educational qualifications suitable for entry to university as an absolute minimum. Candidates for whom English is not their native language will require an IELTS score of 7 or equivalent.
Setting Description:
You will find Berlin quite unlike any other capital city as it maintains its idiosyncratic charm despite the presence of the national government and relocation of multinational headquarters. Pockets of Berlin remain creative enclaves for artists and writers from all over the world. This tradition was established in the years of the Cold War when many houses partially destroyed in World War II and not yet rebuilt became a fertile ground for all sorts of underground and counter-culture movements. Nightclubs too flourished such as Tresor, which is one of the most important Techno clubs in the world.

Course Structure Our course consists of 130 hours of Theory Input, Teaching Practice and Feedback over 5 weeks with full support from fully qualified and experienced teacher trainers. The are five main components: A Pre-Course, Real Teaching Practice with feedback, TEFL Input Sessions classroom management, Teaching Skills for methodologies, Language Awareness for terminology and definitions of the language, and Learning an Unknown Language where trainees benefit from the experience of receiving
