Program Description:

Spanish Abroad, Inc. is a leading provider of Teen Spanish Immersion programs. We are based in the United States with over 15 years in the industry and have developed a wide range of Teen programs through our partner Spanish schools. Our experience in building relationships with our customers including parents and students alike has established our credibility in providing secure, educational, and fun study abroad opportunities for hundreds of teens ever Summer. Given the success of our Teen Spanish programs, we have spun off Teen Spanish Abroad as a year-round focus of preparing high school students and their parents for these study abroad opportunities each Summer. We look forward to answering all questions to ensure parents have a proper understanding of the experience their child will have while taking part in our teen programs. We hope that the resources provided here will provide you with the information you need to make a decision on which location and Spanish program is right for your teenager. There are many options out there for varying interest, however we want our students to have the best Spanish immersion experience possible given their preferences.

Given the success of our Teen Spanish programs offered through Spanish Abroad, we have spun off Teen Spanish Abroad as a which provides a high school students with a variety of locations with Spanish schools that include courses, activities , and excursions in their program. Most locations will offer host family accommodations for a full immersion experience, while we do have two programs with student residence and resort options for housing. The Spanish courses will include 3 to 5 lessons per day depending on the school and you can choose to study for as many weeks as you would like fitting within the date parameters of each program.

Spanish Immersion offers the quickest way to learn a language along with long term retention of skills. Our Summer programs provide students with the means to develop there language ability, while also learning about the local culture. The schools include activities as a means to enjoy the local environment but also practice their language skills in everyday scenarios. The host family experience provides the ultimate means of practicing their Spanish while not in a classroom setting.

Setting Description:

Teen Spanish Abroad offers programs throughout Spain, Costa Rica, and Mexico. We have selected some of the top destinations that offer a great immersion experience while maintaining schools with quality teen programs that integrate courses, activities, excursions, and host family housing for true immersion. You can choose to study in the big cities of Madrid and Barcelona or if you prefer a more natural environment, you will enjoy the likes Dominical, Costa Rica or Cadiz, Spain.

Cost:

Pricing ranges from $650 to $950 per week depending on the location and length of studies. The typical program will include Group classes with 4 lessons per day, Host family accommodations, 3 meals per day, and Airport pickup. Select locations will have an additional fee for airport pickup, which is under pricing.
