Set among Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Deakin University is the perfect place to combine the benefits of an on-campus experience with access to Melbourne’s renowned art and music scene. The university offers a wide range of courses designed to fit most majors, but is particularly known for its education and sports science programs. Students are greeted to their new life in Australia with Deakin’s Beach Welcome Program which takes participants to one of the region’s most scenic coastal spots and gets them quickly acclimated to their new university and home.

- 2.6 GPA. Minimum sophomore standing at a four-year institution at the time of participation. Freshmen and/or students attending a two-year institution may be considered on a case by case basis.
