Program Description:

This course is designed to give an insight into the role of the footwear designer in the fashion industry. It also aims to equip you with the skills necessary to produce a professional portfolio, showing individual creativity along with an understanding of footwear trends. This course consists of all the practical aspects in footwear design, learning how to sketch y hand a variety of footwear types: classical styles in court shoes, sandals, men/women shoes, shoes for infants, moccasin cuts, slippers and low boots. In this course, student can learn and develop their drawing and painting techniques, as well as acquiring manual and digital rendering. They will also set up their own mini collection, researching their preferred theme, setting mood, learning coloring techniques. The course takes place in several stages with the proposal of a theme (different every time) to work on. This will also enable the student to find idea to start to do the job by searching for images, materials and colors. The development of the various phases of the project will be adapted to the various levels of knowledge, the ability of the student and the hours available (standard or intensive course).

Setting Description:
