Writing skills are learned by doing. Through this course, you will also have the opportunity to become intimately involved with the community of Petersfield, Jamaica through host family interactions, community activities and professional development. In the process, you will help promote the Petersfield model for social change and share knowledge that encourages future community-led growth and development.
Public Relations and Community Engagement in Rural Jamaica provides students with an academic and practical introduction to the realities of international development efforts, with a specific focus on the experience of rural Jamaica. You’ll meet with and learn from Amizade’s community partner since 2003, the Association of Clubs (AOC).
