- Oxford Royale Academy (ORA) is a British company with a real passion for international education. Each year our team works harder to compile stimulating and rewarding programmes for all ages, bringing together outstanding teachers (many of whom teach at Oxford University), energetic counsellors, brilliant guest speakers and professional support staff.
In July and August 2012, ORA welcomed over 1500 students to our summer school programmes, and we expect 2013 to be even bigger. We are anticipating that students from over 93 countries will join us in the historic city of Oxford and we hope you will be one of them! Many of our students come back year after year, either to take a new programme or a different combination of subjects.
Oxford Royale Academy courses are designed to combine academic classes with a full cultural and recreational programme. Students will have the opportunity to visit the sites of Oxford, with outings to the city’s museums, colleges and botanic gardens. Courses also include day trips to attractions across the South of England, such as, Bath, Stonehenge, Portsmouth and London.
- Setting Description:
- All courses are resident in University of Oxford accommodation, giving students full immersion into the Oxford tradition. This year’s five campuses are: • Balliol College • Corpus Christi College • Jowett Walk, part of Balliol College • St. Catherine’s College • St. Peter’s College The rooms are within short walking distance of the teaching rooms and dining hall. All our accommodation has comfy social areas and is close to scenic playing fields. Male and female students are separated by corridors and/or staircases.
