Program Description:

The One-year Courses are intensive programmes which enable students to acquire in-depth and targeted training in a relatively brief period of time. They represent an important opportunity for students who lack specific training and wish to develop their skills rapidly in a specific sector or to subsequently attend a Master course.

The Fashion Designer is the creative mind behind the planning and creation of collections, developing innovative ideas and concepts. He has design skills, aesthetic sensitivity and a deep knowledge of the Fashion System. A multidisciplinary approach will enable students to get the perfect combination of creative flair, aesthetics and craft skills. During the course, they will learn the basics of fashion design and pattern-making techniques, tackling the study of fabrics, materials and fashion trends.

With the help of practical experience in the workshops, students will also have the chance to create their own portfolio of projects. By the end of the course, they can apply for admission to a Master course at HFFA, in line with the acquired skills.

Setting Description:

The HFFA Campus is situated in the historic centre of Milan and occupies a strategic position, full of style offices and boutiques, just a stone’s throw away from the Duomo and via Montenapoleone.
