Program Description:
NYU Sydney faculty and staff are committed to creating an environment in which active learning and exploration are the norm. Through their course work, local and regional field trips, and research projects that provide fieldwork opportunities, students deepen their connection to the Aussie people and society.

Opening fall 2012, NYU Sydney is located in Australia’s largest and most sophisticated city that stretches across miles of sparkling beaches and bays. Students will explore Aboriginal art and culture of the longest continuous civilization on the planet. The curriculum includes courses on the country’s rich history of immigrant communities as well as faculty-led study trips to remote regions that are not available to the casual tourist. Students may intern with local businesses and media outlets.
