Program Description:
Through the NIK|LAS (Nikitas Language Abroad Schools) organization, traveler's can take advantage of our low-cost apartment housing in Spain and/or study at our language school which is located in the beautiful city-center of Seville, world famous for its white and yellow houses, tapas bars and narrow streets leading to romantic squares fragranced by orange blossoms. Language Courses taught by highly qualified teachers: Non-Beginners can start classes on any Monday of the year. Standard: Group instructed 20 Classes of Spanish Language and culture weekly. Standard Plus: Group instructed 25 Classes of Spanish Language and culture weekly. Intensive: Group instructed 30 Classes of Spanish Language and culture weekly. Super Intensive: Group instructed 35 Classes of Spanish Language and culture weekly. Accredited Programs - Group instructed Spanish language and Cultural classes for University credits. - Individual (One to One) - Tailor-made private classes. - DELE (Diploma Espanol como Lengua Extranjera) Course designed for those students, both university and professional, who want to be able to include the only official diploma of Spanish on their curriculum. Preparation course for the official exam of the Cervantes Institute. Three level: Initial, Basic and Advanced. 20 lessons of 55 minutes a week from Monday to Friday. Maximum 10 students per class. Course lasts 3 weeks and exams take place in May and November. For students who want to achieve the official diploma of Spanish on their curriculum. Designed to help students prepare for this Spanish proficiency exam. Combined Cities List of Spanish language and cultural programs to be combined between our partner schools in Cadiz, Seville, Salamanca, Madrid and Barcelona. Christmas Programs This course consists of six classes a day and is held only during the holiday periods of the Christmas. It lasts for two weeks. It is held at all levels and it is a good way to get to know and to enjoy the way Andalusia celebrate these special dates, while you practice your Spanish. In Cadiz it is a 30 hr/week, In Seville it is a 16 hr/wk cultural adjoined by either an Intensive Program of Spanish. Flamenco Dance: The course focuses exclusively on the staging of choreography for different flamenco styles (seguiriyas, sole, sole por bulereas, alegrias, etc.) Flamenco Technique: These courses deal with the coordination of movements of different parts of the body and consolidation of concepts, which are fundamental for the flamenco dance. Flamenco Dance & Technique: Includes a mix of Flamenco Technique and Flamenco Dance lessons. One of the most important aspects of Taller Flamenco are the dance courses that we offer in technique and choreography, that is why we have included both separately, except for those who have never danced before. This year they have a special course. Flamenco Guitar: Covering all aspects of flamenco guitar, methods, exercises, falsettos, playing for singing and dancing... The one-to-one nature of the classes guarantees that each student can work on the aspect that he/ she wishes to learn, improve, or perfect. 90 private minutes each day, from Monday till Friday. All the courses start on Monday. Spanish Cooking: Learn how to make popular Spanish dishes from one of the local chiefs. One more thing to take back home besides Spanish and a sun tan. This course is taken with an Intensive Spanish course. Accommodations Apartments are furnished in simple Spanish style with a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, living room with television and 1 or 2 bathrooms. These 2-4 Bedroom apartments are shared with other international students and local Spaniards so students can cook their own food and manage food budget. Bed linens are provided. Male and female students may be placed in the same apartment, but two students of the opposite sex (that don't know each other) will not be placed in a shared room. Apartments are a 15-25 minutes walk/bus from the school/centre. Single Room (SR) - Private room in a shared Apartment. Double Room (DR) - Shared room in a shared Apartment. Travel Transfer This optional service is offered at a cost of One-way from/to arrival or departure spot in Seville, Spain. A representative meets and takes the student to accommodation or departure point.

While other's may include trips to other areas close to Seville, for example, the white sandy beaches along the Andalusian coast, the city of Malaga, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga and even to Morocco. Intercambios A program for students to meet local Spanish speakers with similar interests in order to share conversation in Spanish. The plus, is you improve your Spanish even while at leisure while learning other interesting nuggets of life in Seville.
