Program Description:

This is your chance to spend next summer studying at the University of Leeds which is in the top 100 universities in the world according to the QS World University Rankings 2022. Join Leeds International Summer School (LISS) and experience four weeks of British education and culture. If you are unable to attend for the full duration there is an opportunity to join the wider group for two weeks of the programme. Please contact us to find out more. LISS is an all-inclusive programme so you don’t need to worry about extra fees.

LISS provides world-class tuition with a varied cultural and social programme. LISS will run for four weeks from 1 July - 29 July 2023: you will study two modules and earn 20 Leeds credits (6 US or 10 ECTS) overall which you can transfer back to your home university. Choose from a range of academic subject areas including Arts & Humanities, Business, Communication, Engineering, Politics & International Studies, Sciences and Social Sciences.

Through experiential learning and field trips, you’ll spend lots of time outside of the classroom. You’ll enjoy hands-on learning that will give you insights into British culture, history and society. Each module usually includes at least one field trip to support what you’ve learned in the classroom.

This programme will be held in person for 2022.

Cost:

3240/1820 GBP. Early bird discount for applications received by 1 May 2022. The fee includes tuition, accommodation breakfast and lunch, Monday to Friday, module field trips, weekend excursions, a social programme and the Edge sports centre membership.

Scholarships Description:

If you have a GPA of 3.2 or above then you are eligible to apply for a scholarship worth up to £500. We are also looking for LISS Champions to receive a scholarship of £1,000 while sharing their experiences of LISS via different platforms.
