Program Description:

Coventry University London Campus' international summer school programme gives you the opportunity to broaden your horizons through an exciting programme of accredited undergraduate-level study, field trips and cultural activities. You will deepen your knowledge of practical global business in the heart of the City of London, a major international business hub. Through organized trips and activities, you will be able to explore London's huge cultural offer and there will also be opportunities to travel further afield, exploring the cities and countryside of the UK and other European cities. 3-week summer school courses run throughout the summer and you can study one 15 credit module( equal to 3 US credits or 7.5 ECTS credits per course). You are welcome to study for as many courses as you wish. Experience a new culture, make new friends, and learn new skills the perfect recipe for a life-changing summer experience!

You are able to select one 15 credit module per session. Modules will be repeated in each session, subject to demand. Modules offered: - International Business Cultures - Doing business in Europe - Entrepreneurship in a global context - International business strategy - Introduction to Marketing - Consumer Behaviour - International Marketing Strategy - Foundations of Organisational Behaviour - International HRM All our modules are taught through a mixture of ‘knowledgecasts’ (lectures) and small-group seminars. You will develop practical skills to increase your employability in the global business arena. You will receive 40 hours of tuition over a 3-week period. In addition, self-study will be required to get the most out of your studies. Assessment methods vary by module.

All students will receive a certificate of participation and an official transcript from Coventry University. All modules are accredited, so credits may be transferred, subject to your university's approval.

Setting Description:

London is a large, vibrant city with lots to offer including famous sights, museums and theatres, designer fashion, restaurants, clubs and shopping. It is the home of British government and an international centre of finance and trade. Located in the City of London, a global business and financial centre, Coventry University London Campus is a vibrant location for study, collaboration and networking. Our state of the art campus has over 3,000 square metres of purpose built space and is designed to reflect a technology-enabled teaching and learning environment. The campus is less than a 5 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, a major transport hub for London with excellent rail, bus and airport connections. Shops, cafes, restaurants and street markets surround the London Campus.
