Program Description:
Study international business and Spanish for a semester of full academic year in Barcelona.

Students have a substantial list of courses to choose from and can expect class sizes of 12-30. Class is always held Monday through Thursday allowing for a long weekend of travel. Students have the option of living in an apartment, homestay, or residence hall. Each term includes various cultural activities and weekend excursions. Students can earn up to 15 credits in a semester.

Included in the cost of semester is the following: tuition, housing, 2 weekend excursions outside of Barcelona, weekly cultural activities, airport pickup, transcript from Jacksonville University, Florida, 2 meals per day in homestay, and international emergency insurance.
Setting Description:
Barcelona is Spain’s second largest city and the capital of Catalonia. Nestled along the Mediterranean Sea and extending into the wooded hills of Spain, Barcelona is the country’s most cosmopolitan city. This world-class European city holds everything from high-tech businesses to old Gothic architecture complimented by modern mosaic street art. Barcelona is an old, yet modern city with an abundance of museums, beautiful churches, traditional outdoor markets, and some of Europe’s finest restaurants.
