The Master Course in Italian Cuisine and Oenology, lasting 180 days, is set out in two parts: the first, with a 9-weeks length, of which 45 days of actual training, with 360 hours of theoretical-practical lessons at ICIF Headquarters, in P.za Vittorio Emanuele II, n. 10, 14055, at Costigliole d’Asti (AT), completed with educational trips ; the second, consisting in a 120-day, of which 91 of actual training, of professional externship - optional, not included in the Course fee – at restaurants selected and chosen by the ICIF School

THE FEE for the MASTER of 9.500 € INCLUDE: • Accommodation at the Institute’s Guesthouse located in Strada Salerio n. 2, 14055, Costigliole d’Asti (AT), in mini-apartments (with bedrooms with the possibility of housing a maximum of 4 people per apartment and a bathroom) with breakfast from Monday to Friday or at external receptive structure nearby the School. • Meals at the School from Monday to Saturday (the School is closed on Sundays and on national holidays). • Theoretical-practical lessons, as per scheduled program. • Educational material (hand-outs, audio-visual aids, etc, etc.). • Food products for lessons and tastings. • Use of equipment and tools during lessons in the different classrooms. • A complete chef’s uniform made of: a chef’s jacket with the Institute’s logo, a pair of chef’s pants, an apron with the Institute’s logo and a cotton hat with the Institute’s logo. • Assistance, during the Course, in the bureaucratic procedures for the issuing of the stay permit and of the tax identification number. • External educational visits (typical production areas, agriculture and food companies). • Group transfers during visits and from Torino-Caselle or Milano Malpensa airports on arrival in Italy (only when in groups, for the single students the fee for the transfer will be at his own charge). • Diploma from the Institute at the completion of the Course. Anything not mentioned above is not included. ADDITIONAL FEES NOT included in the FEE of the Course: • 155 € for the issuing of the stay permit • 50 € for the Health Insurance that cover the basic medical expenses and the expenses or the recover to the Hospital only for accidents during the job time for the whole period of the Course (only if the student does not stipulate already a Sanitary Insurance in his proper Country) •30 € for the internet access in the Breakfast Room of the ICIF Guest-House during the 55 days of lessons at the ICIF Institute in Costigliole d’Asti In order to formalize the enrolment to the Course is necessary to send a first deposit of 2.200 € (at least 60 days before the starting date of the Course) to the local ICIF UK representative office. Only after we have received the first deposit of 2.200 € the Institute will send all the necessary documents for the Visa request (one copy to the Italian Embassy of Consulate of reference and one copy to the address of residence of the student). The remaining 7.300 € shall be sent at least one week before the starting date of the Course. If the student will not pay the remaining 7.300 € and if will renounce to join the Course will lose the first deposit of 2.200 € for the enrolment.

ICIF is Situated in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy in between Asti famous for its Sparkling wine and Alba famous for its Truffles. The town of Costigliole de Asti is situated in the heart of the Barbera wine region.
