Program Overview
- Program Description:
- Purpose: Advocate for women's rights and anti-exploitation policy within the Nepali government and other Nepali institutions
Responsibilities: • Research women rights movements within Nepal and understand the work that is already being done • Look into past movements around the world and find how Chhori can learn from their progress to do advocacy in Nepal • Lobby to various members of Nepal's government such as the PM, President, and Ministers • Work with grade schools and universities in Nepal to make women's rights and human rights a bigger priority in the curriculum
Qualifications: • Knowledge of women's rights and human rights on an international scale • Academic coursework or experience in public policy preferred • Strong research skills required
