Program Overview

Program Description:
Classes meet in the morning hours of Monday through Thursday allowing ample time to enjoy the local summer festivities and visit nearby cities. Students select two out of approximately fifteen courses including art, business, English literature, history, Italian, management, music, philosophy, political science, religious studies, and sociology.

Gonzaga-in-Florence summer program is an excellent opportunity for a unique European experience. The seven-week program begins with an Opening tour in Rome, followed by six weeks of classes in Florence.

The academic schedule of Gonzaga-in-Florence allows students three-day weekends throughout the duration of the program. Gonzaga-in-Florence offers organized excursions during these three-day weekends. Students participating on these trips may do so for an extra fee.
Setting Description:
Study and live in the heart of Florence! Located in the center of Florence, Gonzaga-in-Florence is not far from the Duomo with one of the great engineering feats of the Renaissance, Brunelleschi’s Dome. The campus provides students with all the facilities required for learning and socializing, including the latest wireless technology, a library, student lounge, and fitness center.
