Program Description:
The Duke in Madrid program offers full-year and semester programs in collaboration with the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. Each semester, program participants enjoy a full complement of excursions, both day trips and extended trips, all included in the cost of the program.

Committed to a cultural studies perspective, the program aims at improving participants' Spanish fluency and deepening their understanding of Spain and its many cultures within a global context.

Setting Description:
Madrid is a unique place to study art from the past to present-day. It is one of the greenest capitals in the world, with the second largest amount of trees per capital, and is one of the sunniest European cities with mild, warm winters and dry summers.
