Program Description:

Diploma of Higher Education in Psychology (DHEP) is an academic qualification awarded by Coventry University, UK. This program offers a unique opportunity for students to obtain an internationally recognized diploma in psychology from a top ranking British University, studying in Sri Lanka at Colombo Institute of Research & Psychology (CIRP). Academically, the curriculum is equal to the first two years of a British degree in Psychology and amounts to 240 UK credits which is covered within a period of 18 – 24 months. The program includes 15 compulsory modules that can be taken either on a full time or a part time basis. Upon successful completion of the DHEP, students have the Opportunity of entering the final year of the BSc (Hons) Psychology program offered by Coventry University, which could also be completed in Sri Lanka at CIRP. Major advantage of this program is that students are able to obtain an internationally recognized British University diploma for a very economical fee, studying in Sri Lanka. Curriculum is validated by the Coventry University and the quality of teaching, assessments and marking are monitored by the University to ensure that the teaching standards are maintained at international standards.
