The Diploma in Computer Science and Information Technology course is a level 7 qualification with a total of 120 credits. The programme covers skills such as designing, installing, testing, administrating Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN), Project Management, Multiuser operating system, Database, Web Design and Development. This will equip you to immediately enter into a productive role within an organisation or progress to further study in specialist areas. This one year academic course provides in-depth training in research, design, installation, commissioning and testing computer networks and stand alone systems. After you have completed this course you will be eligible to apply for a post study work visa in New Zealand: a 12 month work visa that lets you work in NZ for any employer in any occupation.
