Program Description:
Courses offered by DaemenAbroad in Florence have an interdisciplinary approach that fosters a widened viewpoint. Students benefit from experiental learning courses and excursions, which allow them have a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Courses are taught in English, except Italian language courses. To speak or to take Italian language is not mandatory to be accepted.

Students choose up to 6 interdisciplinary courses per semester from the following fields of study: Liberal Studies/Humanitites; Art History/Architecture/Studio Arts; Business/Economics; History/Political Science/Sociology; Italian Language/Italian Studies.

DaemenAbroad works with an academic priority and is able to offer small group courses and individual attention. Students will be completely immersed in Florentine and Italian lifestyle and will be offered off-the-beaten-path excursions. Scholarship funds are available for all programs through the hosting institution in Florence.
Setting Description:
Florence is home of Michelangelo, Dante, Leonardo, and Machiavelli, amongst others, and it is centrally located for easy travel in Italy and Europe. The program facilities are located in the city center of Florence, near major monuments and museums, with easy access to many areas of the city.
