Program Description:

Get a head start on your college education! This program is ideal for students looking to get a taste of university life and experience London’s rich culture. Earn 3 college credits and receive an official transcript from Richmond, The American International University in London. The AIFS Staff in London organizes many safe and fun social and cultural activities, which will allow you to truly experience the culture of England. You will also receive a meal allowance to subsidize breakfast and dinner Monday through Friday as well as a public transportation pass for the duration of the program.

Earn 3 college credits on a 3-week program studying Art History, History, Literature, or Theater with AIFS in London. Optional workshops on study skills and preparation for college are also available. You will live in University approved residence halls in central London, close to campus and to the famous Kensington Gardens. Enjoy day trips to Cambridge and Stratford upon Avon. Cultural activities include museum visits and theater events as well as walking tours of London. An optional excursion to Paris is also available.

Summer Advantage provides students ages 16-18 the opportunity to experience an international educational program in a prestigious university setting and get a head start on subjects they wish to study during college. Setting Description:

London is the ultimate reality classroom. You need not look any further than the City to see modern economics and finance in action, the Tower of London to see the history of Western architecture on display, the Houses of Parliament to see centuries of political thought put into practice, or Kew Gardens to see nearly every species of plant and flower the world has to offer. With its fine museums, libraries, theaters, concert halls, and more parks than any other capital city in the world, there is no other place on earth quite like it. London Summer Advantage is designed specifically to take full advantage of all that London has to offer.

Cost:

Program fees cover transcripts for college credit and housing. A meal plan, tours and excursions, insurance and the support of full-time, on-site staff are also included. For your convenience, each program location offers an optional AIFS Transportation Package, which includes airfare and airport transfers.
