Program Description:

CBL International China Business School is run by CBL International in cooperation with the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University, Shanghai. English-speaking students get the opportunity to study Chinese law and business during a three-week course, while immersed in the day-to-day life of China’s bustling economic center. Two weeks of the business school’s lectures and events will take place in China’s biggest economic center, Shanghai. For one week of the three-week course, the program will be based in China’s capital city, Beijing.

All lectures are held in English and given by distinguished Tongji University (one of the top universities in China) professors. You will receive presentations from managers and lawyers covering everyday aspects of their lives and business activities in China. Topics covered include Intercultural Management, Start-up in China, Taxation, and Intellectual Property Rights. On top of the receiving lectures, you will also visit local businesses and attend organized excursions to famous landmarks.

The program is ideal for business and law students as well as anyone interested in legal and economic developments in the Far East. Integrated into the program are lectures given by internationally renowned tutors from many different departments. With students and young professionals from different countries taking part, the program has an international flavor and flair that lend it a fresh perspective, ensuring all participants will be kept on their toes! Every week of CBL China International Business School is equivalent to 2 ECTS credit – so in total 6 ECTS credits (3 US credits).

Setting Description:

A walk along Nanjing Lu, one of Shanghai’s main commercial strips, reveals numerous ultra modern ten story shopping malls and department. And all around brand new skyscrapers of glass and steel rearrange Shanghai’s skyline on a seemingly daily basis The excursion to Beijing will also allow some sightseeing besides the planned lectures and meetings with company managers and attorneys-at-law. During your stay in China’s capital city, you will visit the famous Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall.
