Program Description:
Eternal City Education’s 14 day study abroad program “From the Renaissance to the Modern World” is designed for students 14 to 16 years of age. Through a combination of immersion and experience based learning methods, students will learn about the dynamism of this extraordinary period. Students will be immersed in the artistic and scientific accomplishments of great renaissance figures such as Michelangelo Buonarotti and Leonardo Da Vinci and then be taken through the baroque and enlightenment eras and finally into the 20th century. With trips to 7 cities throughout Italy, students will also have supplementary Language, art and culinary lessons.

This is a preparatory course for college and for life generally. It helps the participant to understand the development of Western Civilization from the Renaissance and broadens their minds culturally.

Situated in a majestic and secure villa in the Eternal City of Rome.
