Program Description:

Eternal City Education’s 14 day program “From Ancient to Christian Rome” is designed for students 14 to 16 years of age. Through a combination of immersion and experience based learning methods, students will learn about that most incredible period of transition and transformation and its relevance to today’s world. Beyond trips to 8 cities in the Italian peninsula students have supplementary language, art and culinary lessons that augment and broaden their entire experience

Based in Rome, the 14 day program will include: * trips to 8 Cities * 10 Hours of Art and Design classes * 10 Hours of Language * 2 Culinary Lessons * 35 Hours of On Site instruction * 2 Expert Lectures The 9 Cities to be experienced are: * Rome (Base) * Assisi * Orvieto * Ostia Antica * Naples * Positano * Pompeii * Vesuvius * Amalfi

This is a preparatory course for college and for life generally. It helps the participant to understand the development of Western Civilization and broadens their minds culturally.

Setting Description:

Situated in a majestic and secure villa in the Eternal City of Rome.

$2600 USD Includes: Instruction, Supervision (Chaperones), Room and board, Educational supplies and materials, travel expenses, Museum and archeological entrance fees and insurance. All expenses are included minus the flight to and from Rome.
